As promised yesterday, I am going to write about my brand new Acer 19″ wide screen monitor. This bad boy arrived at the beginning of this week. I ordered it from my second favorite online store -NewEgg.com.
As soon as I plugged it in, I was in love.
This was quite an “upgrade” from the standard monitor that I had. Here is the crappy, old one that I was using.
My old horrible, older craptastic Dell monitor had died just as fast as the Dell PC that I had, so a friend of mine built me a gaming computer and added an awesome graphics card.
He told me that - “this graphics card will take any monitor you can give it.” But, unfortunately I had to use this Envision monitor because I could not afford to buy a new monitor. Until last week, that is.
So I put it to the test.. I figured, why not right? See how much it can take.
I bought the Acer Monitor for $168.00 (on sale) at NewEgg. And as I stated before, I was in love as soon as I saw it. It just looks beautiful! The graphics are awesome! I have my resolution set to the max, which is 1680 x 1050.. It tilts rather nicely to where you want it and I can even hang it if I want.

For the price, this is a great monitor. That fact that I can spend a good amount of time on here and my eyes are not burning out of the sockets are a wonderful added bonus! I am really happy with this monitor! I have had such crappy monitors in the past, It’s nice to finally be able to upgrade to something decent for a reasonable amount of money!
Here is my desktop. Look at the color and clarity of it! It’s amazing…
This was a great choice. I never bought an “Acer” before. I am a happy, happy gurl….. If you guys are looking for a very decent monitor at a great price. I highly suggest this one.
