Deans FCKEditor- A nifty plugin for your wordpress editor

Time for a great word editing program.

There is a great plugin that I have been using for a while now. I love the way it works and I think that it is something I should be writing about to let others know.

It’s called,Dean’s FCKEditorand it is a plugin that replaces the Wordpress editor.

With this editor, I have been able to change the template of my posts, add pictures with ease, (see the magazine photo?) change the editor skins and also configure the toolbar. I can add smilies right from the toolbar, make a button and also view the source code if needed. Insert or edit flash, page breaks, the whole nine yards!

It’s compatible with Firefox, IE and also Netscape browsers too. Simple and easy to use, all you have to do is download the plugin here, unzip it, upload it to your Wordpress plugin folder and then activate it in your plugin administration panel. And TaDa! Done.

Here is a screenshot of how it looks:

word editor, dean's FCKEditor,wordpress,

I chose the gray toolbar. I think it looks cool. So far it has been really reliable. I give it 5 stars! Go check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
